Elementary music education is the foundation of a full and rich educational experience. As president, I will work to ensure that all students in the state of Florida have access to a high quality elementary music education experience. The Florida Elementary Music Educators Association provides opportunities to students that expand their world. Over my years as an elementary educator, I have personally witnessed the life changing effect that our All State and Regionals Festivals have on students. As FEMEA District 3 Chair, I have had the privilege of meeting countless phenomenal music educators throughout the state, and I know it is because of your hard work and dedication that music education touches the lives of so many students. It would be an honor to serve on your behalf and work to further the cause of comprehensive elementary music education for all.
