Kelly Arner

My mission is to champion FEMEA's goal to unite and support music educators by facilitating the professional connections that inspire their personal love of music and directly help them foster high-quality, comprehensive music education for all children in our district.

My purpose as District Chair is to challenge music professionals to step outside of their own classrooms, comfort zones, or perceived ideas about what music education is. I know, firsthand, the power of a colleague encouraging you to join a new organization or volunteer to share your skills with other educators. I believe it is important to get newer music educators involved from the beginning while also utilizing the existing wealth of experience that already lies within the classrooms of our veteran music educators, creating a truly unified district network.
