Christine Marr

My heart and passion for elementary music education is two-fold. My primary goal is to create rich and meaningful musical experiences for my students, as every child should have access to a high quality music education. Music played a vital role in my life and my goal has been to provide this same creative outlet to my students. I now find myself expanding beyond this initial goal, however, by actively pursuing ways to collaborate and support new teachers in music education. Helping other teachers achieve their goals, by providing support and feedback, has become a vital part of what I do. If I were to be a part of the team, I would continue to cultivate meaningful, musical experiences for students, as well as collaborate and support fellow music education professionals in accordance with the mission of FEMEA.
