In alignment with the mission of FEMEA, my commitment to providing a high-quality, comprehensive music education is reflected in my active involvement. I have contributed to Walton county by adjudicating auditions for the Walton County Middle & High School Bands from 2021 to 2023, ensuring a fair and rigorous selection process for talented musicians. Additionally, I've found it a joy to adjudicate the All State Elementary Chorus and All State Orff Ensemble auditions in 2022 and 2023, identifying and recognizing outstanding performers. Furthermore, I've actively participated in sharing within the music education community. At the Tallahassee Area Orff Chapter Share in 2023, I presented a lesson on blending Orff Schulwerk and 21st-century technologies, sharing innovative approaches to music education via a rap project. Additionally, I presented a lesson on Haiku at the FEMEA Curriculum Fair and alongside my colleagues, presented how our Walton County music teachers collaborate for the betterment of our students. Through similar endeavors, I aim to strengthen the FEMEA community, foster collaboration, and contribute to the organization's mission of providing comprehensive music education for all children.
