Regionals Audition Process

Join/Renew FEMEA

In order to access the audition portal your membership in the FEMEA Component as well as FMEA and NAfME must be current.

Verify that Parent/Guardian agrees to register their child if selected.

Submit Audition

Follow the Audition Process for All-State Elementary Chorus, All-State Orff Ensemble or both.Confirm that the parents are willing to send their child if they are selected.

Select Southern Regional box in the audition portal.

Check Acceptance List

Teachers will view the selection list and inform parents. Parents of teachers will need to register quickly because there is only an 8 day window between posted results and the Regional Registration deadline.

Register and Attend Festival

Registration will open when Audtion Results are posted.

Registration Fee is $89

Beth Green
Honor Choir

Beth Green conducted Elementary Music Festival (Brevard County) and Lake Sumter Elementary Honor Chorus (Lake and Sumter counties) in 2024. She has led the Brevard Youth Chorus since Fall 2022 and prepared her students in grades 4-10 to perform in 3 languages with Brevard Symphony Orchestra last year. Mrs. Green taught elementary music in private and public school settings for over a decade, during which time she was awarded Teacher of the Year and the designation of Music Demonstration School. She became the Artistic Director for Indialantic Chamber Singers, an auditioned adult ensemble, in 2018. Mrs. Green is Chorus Director and a frequent soprano soloist for the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra. She also prepares annual masterworks concerts for the Riverside Community Chorale as their chorusmaster, teaching the 35-voice non-auditioned chorus and also singing solos accompanied by the orchestra. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the studio of Dr. Elizabeth Graham at the University of Florida with her degree in choral music education.

Kelly Arner
Honors Orff Ensemble

With 23 years of experience enriching young lives through music, Mrs. Kelly Arner is a highly respected elementary music educator. She has been a cornerstone of Sunrise Elementary in Brevard County since its opening in 2006. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College and is an Orff-certified teacher and dedicated member of AOSA. Her leadership is evident in her role as President of the Central Florida Orff Chapter. A testament to her innovative teaching, Kelly's Orff ensemble, the Sunrise Inspiration, was invited to perform at the FMEA President's Concert in January 2024. Furthermore, she was honored to collaborate with the FEMEA Rising Stars at the University of Florida in October 2024, showcasing her expertise and passion for nurturing musical talent. Kelly is married to her husband, Shaun, for 22 years and has two boys, Chad and Ethan.
